Good Afternoon,
Our Hope and Prayers at this time are for our American family and for innocent people from every nation under God. He alone is able to provide deliverance from the perils of this life and bring hope back to the downtrodden, poor, weary, and afflicted.
We wanted to take a moment to update everyone about our ongoing yearly Winter Coat Drive. We have been conducting this drive now for seven years and counting every fall until spring. We buy new and good quality second hand coats and jackets for children, teens and adults and reach out into the community to find out where these coats are needed. We distribute our labeled boxes accordingly for those in need to freely take what they need from them.
We also get calls when individuals or families need coats for their little children. Some of our gracious board members set time aside each year to lend a selfless hand in this project. A very warm thanks to Lynn Nicholas, Michelle Impey, Coleen Mayo, Karen Howe, and Sarah Cooper!
Saving the best for last, we’d like to give a shout out to one of the kindest Police Officers to join our Officer Wall of Honor. His name is Officer Nicholas Digaetano of The Portsmouth Police. He is one of many silent heroes, who never leave love of country, family, or brotherly kindness on a back burner, but keep them on the forefront, as they lay down their own lives to protect the streets of America!
Below are a few memories from this season. As always, please take care.
Stay Safe and God Bless!
