UPDATE! EVENTFUL TIMES BY GOD'S GRACE!

GOOD AFTERNOON TO OUR AMERICAN FAMILY!

We pray that this day finds everyone in good health, peace, and safety. If any of you are having troubles because of life’s curve balls, please reach out to your community, as there are many hidden, beautiful souls and organizations waiting to help. Also, feel free to reach out to us and we will offer that helping hand or assist you in finding someone who is able if we are not.

This past week has been very eventful as we remember September 11, 2001, continue to man our On The Go Pantry, visit and help precious Senior citizens, and meet with Police precincts in northern Maine to see how we can partner with them to help communities in need northward.

One of the most life-changing and humanitarian precincts is in Holden, Maine. Their beloved former Chief, Chris Greeley (who we loved!!!), established a wonderful service called 25 DAYS OF KINDNESS! (25daysofkindness.org)

This program not only fosters positive community togetherness, but also helps all weary, law-abiding citizens and families who make it to their Shores of Hope, to get on their feet by God’s Grace.

The new Chief, Eduardo Benjamin, who was mentored by Chris, and his Head Secretary, Teressa, are now, not only walking in his footsteps, but have taken this program to new heights, with so many silent heroes coming out of the woodwork to quietly help in these endeavors!!!

Recently, Chairwoman Ellie and Head Secretary Lynn, had a most wonderful meeting with Chief Benjamin and Teressa about how we can partner to use all of our love, kindness, and charity resources for our neighbors in need.

A special thanks to Kevin Murphy, who works for the City of Portsmouth, NH and gives his free time to volunteer with HCH and other charities to help individuals in need!!!

Cheers and God Bless!
