During the first few weeks of June, HCH will begin making preparations for our trip to the Navajo Reservation scheduled for this August. HCH Board Members and volunteers will work closely with tribe leaders, who will in turn direct our help and our resources where needed most. HCH representatives will also collaborate with local business, healthcare organizations, farmers, and other community groups to figure out how to best take on the tribe's water and healthcare crises. We don't expect to solve every problem within only a handful of weeks, but we do hope to begin developing sustainable solutions and providing immediate assistance where it can be given.
